Razak Associates provided programming, site, interior, architectural, structural, and mechanical design, fire protection, bidding administration and construction contract administration for the upgrade and expansion of the Pediatric Services Department. Restricted by an adjacent parking lot, the innovative design for this space included:

• Two-story solution
• Helicopter landing pad in the center of vehicle turnaround
• Provision of good monitoring by nursing staff and logical connection to hospital
• Security office located for maximum visibility
• Finishes included carpet, decorative acoustical ceilings and rich woodwork
